Souper Bowl 2026:

Art, Flavor & Community

Our 2026 Souper Bowl was another incredible evening — and a powerful reminder of what this community can do when it comes together. Handcrafted ceramics, extraordinary soups, and the shared spirit of giving made for a night that was truly one of a kind, once again benefiting both The Art Center of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend Food Bank.

A Feast for the Senses

Local restaurants brought their very best to the table, serving up a remarkable variety of soups that warmed hearts and wowed taste buds throughout the evening. The competition was fierce, the flavors were bold, and the crowd made their voices — and their votes — heard. Your top three favorites of the evening were:

  1. Marco's Lunch Club's Tomato Basil

  2. Community Kitchen's White Hominy Chowder

  3. Diamond Point Catering's Creamy Parmesan Mushroom with Truffle Honey Drizzle

The Bowls Themselves Are the Art

Our Clay Studio artists poured countless hours into this year's collection — at the wheel, at the kiln, and at the glaze table — producing 1,059 unique handmade bowls for guests to choose from and take home. Each one a functional work of art. Each one completely unique.

A True Community Effort

None of this happens without an entire village behind it. Our dedicated volunteers managed every detail from setup to check-in to bowl wrapping. The Coastal Bend Food Bank team coordinated tirelessly to make the partnership seamless. Clay Studio Technician Adam Haney kept the kilns firing and the glazes flowing all season long. Adam and Nichole Schiller led special bowl-making sessions with Art Center staff, Green Apron Sponsors, and H-E-B. And our generous sponsors made the whole evening possible.

Most of all — thank you to everyone who attended. Your support year after year is what makes Souper Bowl something this community truly cherishes.

Every bowl purchased and every soup savored directly supports art education and creative opportunities here in Corpus Christi — and helps address food insecurity across the Coastal Bend. Two nonprofits. One shared belief that a strong community nourishes both the body and the soul.

Thank you for being part of Souper Bowl 2026. We're already looking forward to 2027.
