Upcoming KidsWalk Events

KidsWalk is a free, family-friendly event hosted every first Friday of the month by the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Developed in collaboration with the Downtown Management District, KidsWalk runs alongside Downtown Corpus Christi's monthly ArtWalk, creating an earlier, family-centered start to the evening that welcomes kids and families into the heart of the Marina Arts District.

Each month from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, KidsWalk transforms the Art Center into a lively gathering space featuring free hands-on art activities, games, artist demonstrations, creative vendor experiences, and gallery exhibitions open to all ages. The event is designed to make the arts accessible and exciting for the whole family while encouraging visitors to explore the surrounding businesses, public spaces, and the district at large.

KidsWalk was developed as part of the Art Center's broader commitment to expanding cultural programming in downtown Corpus Christi. Since its launch, it has grown into a beloved community tradition, drawing new and returning families each month and strengthening the connection between the Art Center and the greater downtown core. The program is supported by the Texas Commission on the Arts Cultural District designation, reflecting its role in building Corpus Christi as a dynamic and thriving arts destination.

KidsWalk is more than a monthly event. It is a celebration of community, creativity, and the next generation, made possible through the continued partnership of the Downtown Management District and the support of the local Corpus Christi community.
