SOUPER BOWL (not to be confused with that other one with footballs and helmets) is a unique event that brings together two integral organizations in our community.  All proceeds benefit both the Coastal Bend Food Bank and the Art Center of Corpus Christi, 501(c)3 non-profit organizations that have achieved the Guidestar Platinum Level of transparency.  By purchasing a ticket or sponsoring, you are directly supporting your community through these organizations.  You get browse table after table and pick a beautiful locally handmade ceramic bowl to take home (not eat from), and then sample and feast on as much locally made soup as your heart desires.  This makes for an exceptionally fun evening supporting and celebrating all the things that make Corpus Christi great: local art, local restaurants & businesses, and local non-profit organizations.
 

The Art Center's Clay Studio artists work hard for months creating the unique bowls you get to choose from at Souper Bowl.  Each generous artist brings their own spin and craftsmanship to every bowl. Hundreds of bowls are made to choose from, guaranteeing that every guest leaves with the perfect bowl.  Each ticket comes with one bowl and extra bowls (in case you can't pick just one) can be purchased at additional cost.

The generosity continues, with favorite local restaurants donating a wide variety of soup for you to choose from.  Taste them all and enjoy until you can't eat any more, and then vote for your favorite one!  Like just tasting?  Walk around and try them all.  Found one you love?  Grab a bowl and have a seat in our courtyard under the Coastal Bend sky.  There will be over 20 different types of soups for you to sample; because what is better on a chilly February evening than an all you can eat soup buffet?  Participating restaurants will be listed below!

There will also be a cash bar, a pottery pop-up shop, our current exhibits and a wonderful Bayfront atmosphere for you to enjoy.  Complimentary valet parking will be provided for your convenience.
