SOUPER BOWL (not to be confused with that other one with footballs and helmets) is a unique event that marries two integral organizations in our community.  By purchasing a ticket, you are directly supporting both the Art Center of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend Food Bank, 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.  The unique thing about this affordable fundraiser, is that you get out of it almost as much as you put in.  You get to pick a beautiful locally handmade ceramic bowl to take home (not eat from), and then sample and feast on as much locally made soup as your heart desires.  This makes for an exceptionally fun evening that leaves our community excited for the next year!
 

The Art Center's Barry Brown Clay Studio Group, located inside the Art Center, works hard for months creating the unique bowls you get to choose from at Souper Bowl.  Each generous artist brings their own spin and craftsmanship to every bowl. Hundreds of bowls are made to choose from, guaranteeing that every guest leaves with the perfect bowl.

The generosity continues, with favorite local restaurants donating a wide variety of soup for you to choose from.  Taste them all and enjoy until you can't eat any more, and then vote for your favorite!  There will be over 20 different types of soups for you to sample, because what is better on a chilly February evening than an all you can eat soup buffet.  Participating restaurants are listed below!  The whole community gets involved with local businesses both donating items and sponsoring.

There will be a cash bar, a pottery pop-up shop, our current exhibits and a wonderful Bayfront atmosphere for you to enjoy.  Complimentary valet parking will be provided for your convenience.
