With the development of our Creative Labs, a visual arts MakerSpace, we'll unlock unprecedented opportunities for learning, access and innovation.

The Art Center of Corpus Christi is more than just a gallery. It is a launchpad for emerging talent and a cultural cornerstone for the Coastal Bend.
Our Momentum Is Growing, and So Is Our Vision.
The community's enthusiasm for the Art Center has never been stronger. In recent years, visitation has surged 27%, a clear sign of the growing desire for creative connection.
But this demand has outpaced our current capacity. Spaces once designed for specific purposes are now in constant transformation to accommodate workshops, exhibitions, and events. We are doing more than ever, but we have outgrown our footprint.
The Vision: ART WITHOUT LIMITS
Art Without Limits is the Art Center of Corpus Christi's capital campaign to build creative labs / makerspace, a state-of-the-art expansion that will serve as a beacon of creativity, innovation, and access. This project will allow us to serve our growing audience with intention, equity, and excellence, while also ensuring our impact continues to expand for generations to come.
STEAM EDUCATION
The Expansion will include secure Youth Education areas that are safe, inviting classrooms designed specifically for k-12 students. These spaces will enable us to welcome larger field trips, deepen STEAM-based instruction, and offer after-school programs tailored to spark curiosity and creative thinking among young learners.
NEW CREATIVE OPPORTUNITIES
From traditional artforms to modern design, the new studios will support a full spectrum of creative practices. Whether it's clay, painting, woodworking, jewelry-making, or digital fabrication, artists at all levels will find tools and inspiration.
ARTISTIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The Creative Labs will empower creative entrepreneurs to turn passion into profession. By offering access to high-quality tools, guidance, and sales platforms, we'll help artists grow their brand and business, right here in Corpus Christi.
CAPACITY BUILDING
In addition to studios and classrooms, the expansion will include flexible spaces for performances, gatherings, and exhibitions. The Art Center will remain a dynamic cultural commons where the Coastal Bend comes together to celebrate art and community.
