JOHN B. WILLIAMS:  1972-2011 A Chronicle Exhibition of Paintings

VIEW EXHIBIT

John’s work focuses on how color affects the various hues on a canvas and how the abstraction works together to create an extraordinary piece of art.

MARICELA SANCHEZ: Fascinations

VIEW EXHIBIT

Maricela Sanchez’s art centers on organic, ambiguous forms. As a painter, printer, sculptor and mixed media artist, Maricela produces contemporary and non-representational artwork. For collectors of her work, every new departure in medium and/or technique is an exciting proposition, which allows collectors to continue collecting for years. Each medium and series are a perfect addition and go with any of the different styles Sanchez uses.

CLIFF WELTY: “Mostly Dead Artists”

VIEW EXHIBIT

Now living in Brownsville, TX, San Antonio native Cliff Welty was a truck driver, welder, construction worker, railroad track hand, waiter and in hotel management prior to discovering his artistic gift.  His artistic influences are Andre Derain, Diego Rivera, Tamara de Lempicka, Mark Clark, Pablo Picasso, and David Alfaro Siqueiros.  While Cliff’s style is realistic he employs abstraction to accomplish the final result.  The majority of his portraits are 30”x40”, oil on linen, although has done portraits as large as 14’x7’.
