The Art Center hosts an array of special events that include musical performances, artist receptions, monthly ArtWalk events, film screenings, and Art Markets. Updated information on specific events will be regularly posted on our website. Please check back for upcoming event information.
Artist Receptions
On the second Thursday evening of the month from 5 – 7 p.m., the Art Center hosts artist and art group receptions complete with refreshments and appetizers. Receptions are free admission and provide the community with an inside look at local and regional artwork displayed in Art Center gallery spaces monthly. Receptions may also include awards, live music and artist talks.
Art Market
Held the 2nd Saturday each month, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Art Market provides an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell original artwork.

First Friday Art Walk
ArtWalk is a monthly Downtown Corpus Christi event held on the First Friday of every month, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. This free event includes open shops, restaurants, galleries, cultural venues and local businesses.

Festival of the Arts

Celebrate the Arts on the beautiful Corpus Christi bayfront, at The Art Center, the jewel of the South Texas coastline. The Festival of the Arts, celebrated annually during the last weekend in March, offers endless blue skies, cool gulf breezes and a beautiful waterfront view.
