Weddings, quinceaneras, and special events

The Bay View Room offers one of the most stunning views of our lovely bayfront on Shoreline Drive. The north wall affords a beautiful view of our city through Palladian windows that are 6 to 7 feet tall. These windows allow your guests to enjoy our exotic sea birds as they seem to float through the air. Sailboats and pleasure craft can be seen as they sail in and out of the bay daily. Bright moonlight and soft fluffy clouds add to your viewing enjoyment in the evening hours. The night-lights of downtown Corpus Christi are especially beautiful from this room.

The 9 to 10 foot ceiling creates an open spacious ambiance in the 1600 square foot octagon shaped room. This area accommodates up to 88 guest for a formal seated dinner or 120 guests in a cocktail setting. The Bayview room has an elevator as well as a wet bar for your convenience.

Courtyard (Up to 500 guests) with grand staircase and terrace with arched windows and columns.

Our Courtyard has been designed in a classic Mediterranean style with a lovely grand staircase that leads to a protected 12-foot wide veranda, which encompasses the entire upstairs. The grand staircase is the focal point of the Courtyard and is the centerpiece of many bridal entrances as well as many wedding photographs. The upstairs veranda affords a magnificent view of the entire bay. On a clear evening you are able to see the lights of Port Aransas, our Naval Air Station and the Harbor Bridge. You can also watch the big ships entering and leaving our port area. A gentle breeze, glittering stars, and moonlit nights will make your experience even more delightful. The Courtyard boasts approximately 6000 square feet on the lower portion, which will accommodate a large number of guests for your event.

Special events held in our galleries offer an ever-changing array of original art exhibited at the Art Center. The East wall offers a charming view of our courtyard through three sets of French doors. The main Meadows Gallery boasts an 18 foot open ceiling. This will accommodate an elegant and tasteful venue for a special event that can include dinner as well as dancing.

Meeting and Conference Rooms (up to 80 guests) are available for speakers, luncheons or workshops. Available Day or Evening.

Smaller rooms for showers, luncheons and teas are available.

Artist's Studios for Rent
We have a studio available for artists to rent on a weekly or monthly basis. This is an ideal location for the artist that doesn't want to have lots of people coming into their home studio regularly. It also provides a terrific opportunity to get your art and your name recognized in the Corpus Christi area! Booth Rental at our Monthly Art Sale!
The second Saturday of the month is very special at the Art Center because we hold a mini art fair from 10am - 4pm. Local artists and artist groups will be selling their works to the public in an art market atmosphere! We hope you will come to the Art Center for the fun and creative shopping experience and enjoy our exhibits throughout the Art Center!

One Man Shows!
We often accommodate individual artists or groups with gallery space to show and sell their work in our smaller galleries. These galleries are booked far in advance, so if you want this type of show, you need to call or email the Art Center early at
