Diann Baggett
Diann Baggett has been creating art professionally since earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Houston.
Since that time she has been involved in many types of design, painting, portraiture, murals, 3-D commercial design, as well as in an instructional capacity. Her objective in creating and producing art can vary depending upon the project at hand. She was trained in a variety of styles and techniques and enjoys varying her work from representational to abstract. Her aim is to flood the viewers’ senses with vibrant color and interesting design – sharing her thoughts and experiences.
Diann has lived in the South Texas most of her life and truly admires and portrays the aquatic life, native wildlife and various terrains of the region. However she also enjoys working with surreal or expressionistic themes – making religious, political, and social comments, or just creating themes with another worldly quality.
She explains her commitment to painting this way; “I truly love my profession for many reasons, but especially because of the freedom, the independence, and variety I am able to enjoy in my creative endeavors.”
